November 10, 2007 - City Wide Pet Day - Texas Michelle Stockton reports, "City Wide Pet Day went off without a hitch yesterday. I worked the event with my mom & Ashley and Nicole (my twin daughters). It was very windy, just like last year, and that was a pain with trying to keep our stuff on the table but otherwise the weather was beautiful. There was a good turn-out of people and their dogs. It was fun relaxing at the booth and trying to guess the different breeds of dogs! Also, the High Rise pony club of Richardson set up a little course of jumps which provided excellent entertainment. Our booth was right next to the pony club’s area which brought lots of horse lovers our way. I was glad we were there because so many people came by and said they had never heard of equine rescue and wanted to know how it works! We gave out a bunch of business cards.
