Name - Arliss Breed - Grade Gender - Gelding DOB - Approx. August 2009
Height - Growing baby Registration - None Color/Markings - Sorrel, star Arrived: 12/1/2009
Bio: Arliss and his dam was seized by a joint effort between law enforcement and BEHS. His dam died before court, and Arliss was awarded to BEHS.
History: Arliss was only about four months old when he came to BEHS and he had not been handled before arriving here.
Health/Lameness:None known.
Abilities: Arliss is a typical baby. He's a great age to take home, work with and
then start under saddle in a couple of years. He's got great potential as a western horse, trail horse, or just about anything you train him for!
Other: Update March 2010: Arliss has learned to stand tied. He is leading well and is
fairly easy to catch and halter. He's still a baby and can be silly but he's very people friendly and easy to deal with. All his feet can be handled but he moves around
a little once his attention span has reached its limit. Even though he's only 7 months old, he's nearly as tall as his adoptive mom Luna. His real mother who died soon after she was
rescued was in the 16 hand range so his foster mom believes he's going to be a good sized horse.
