Name - Aspen Bio: Aspen was awarded, along with 6 other horses, by the courts to BEHS. History: : Nothing is known of Aspen's history. Health/Lameness: Aspen has a cloudy spot in one eye that may limit her vision. It does not seem to bother her. Abilities: Aspen is likely not broke to ride, but she’s not too old to train. She’s a very pretty mare who wants to learn and work with a person. She’s got great potential for the right adopter. Other: Aspen is somewhat food protective and will stamp her feet if you try to do anything with her while she is eating. However, she is very gentle when taking food from your hand. She now has to allow me to halter and brush her before she can eat. She seems to want to please, but is a little jumpy if approached too quickly, especially on her right side because of her cloudy eye. She loves to be brushed all over including her tail which is gorgeous! Aspen moves beautifully, and her foster home feels once she gets over some minor trust issues, she will be able to do anything she is asked. |
