Name - Aster Bio: Aster and her foal Astro were found estray by the sheriff's department. When her owners could not be located, the county turned them over to BEHS. History: : Nothing is known of Aster's history before coming to BEHS. Health/Lameness: She has no known health or lameness problems. She was already in foal when she arrived in BEHS and should deliver around the first of next year. Abilities: At first she acted as if she had very little handling. She is very curious and quiet in nature. Aster was very good on her recent visit to the vet. She was easily haltered in the trailer and led well in the vet clinic without pulling back. She did not offer to bite or kick when handled. Aster is a standard sized donkey, and could be taught to pull a cart or simply enjoyed as a family pet. Other: |
