History: : Nothing is known of Blessings’ history.
Health/Lameness: Blessings has no known health or lameness issues.
Abilities: Blessings has learned to be haltered and tolerates brushing and
petting. Her foster home has begun doing ground work with her and she is
steadily improving on moving in the direction requested, backing up, walking
over a bridge and poles on the ground and tolerating a rope on different
parts of her body. In her stall she is no problem to halter and her foster
home is working on haltering her in an open space. She is a smart mare and
wishes to please.
Other: Blessings won 3rd in the Novice Foster Home Division of the 2011
Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She's very nervous in new
places, so she's going to need an adopter who can spend time working with
her. |
