Name - Brown Betty Bio:Brown Betty and several pasture mates were removed from a negligent home and placed with BEHS. History: : Nothing is known of Brown Betty's history prior to coming to BEHS. Health/Lameness:Brown Betty is pregnant and due in approximately April-June 2012. She was pregnant when she arrived at BEHS, and we do not know who the sire of the foal is. Abilities: Brown Betty is a little pushy on the ground, but she's learning to respect her handlers. She has not yet been evaluated under saddle. Other: Brown Betty looks like a miniature warmblood--after she foals and is weaned, she should have potential to do be trained in a discipline of choice. Her foster home thinks she'd make a darling hunter or dressage pony, if properly developed. Her knowledge of a bit and reins has been tested from the ground and she didn't seem to know what was being asked of her, but remained quite calm. |
