Bio: This is one of three mares found abandoned in a pasture with no food or water. The mares were seized by law enforcement and awarded to BEHS.
History: Nothing is known of Candy’s past history except that neighbors reported she is the foal of BEHS #417 Emma Ly.
Health/Lameness: None known.
Abilities: When Candy arrived, she had not been handled at all. She is now friendly and will approach
people. She can be caught, stand tied, and have her feet trimmed. She also stands for grooming. She’s a quick horse and will do best with an experienced handler. A trainer has
worked with her and feels should be a great working cow, cutting or reining horse.
Other: This filly’s dam is very friendly and easy to work with. She will probably be just as easy
once she learns to be haltered. |
