Name - Cassandra Bio: Cassandra was part of a large neglect case. She was removed in a joint effort between BEHS and three other agencies. She was placed with BEHS by the courts. She was adopted at the 2010 Bluebonnet Horse Expo (October 16th, 2010) and returned in August of 2011. Her adopters had worked with her on the ground some but had not ridden her any. History: : Nothing is known of Cassandra's history. Health/Lameness: Cassandra was recently vetted (November 2011) and her veterinarian discovered she had fractures to her coffin bones, navicular changes, and an old tendon injury. He feels that even with shoes and wedge pads, she will not be reliably sound for riding. Abilities: Due to her periodic lameness issues, Cassandra is available as a pet/companion only. She's submissive with other horses, so she could go out in most herds to keep lonely horses company. Other: |
