Bio:
Dallas was surrendered to BEHS when his owner was investigated for neglect.
History:
His owner told BEHS that he rode Dallas. However that's all we
know of his history.
Health/Lameness: In the winter of 2006-2007, BEHS treated Dallas for a neurological disorder. Tests for EPM were inconclusive, however he did improve with EPM medication. With time off and good care, Dallas appears to have recovered. No other health problems or lamenesses are known.
Abilities: Dallas is a pretty boy who enjoys attention. He's been ridden in a western saddle and an english saddle, and he's been ridden on trails.
Other: Dallas has suffered two accidents while in the rescue. When tied, he spooked, set back and then reared. He fell on top of his handler. Then when he was ridable, he spooked with a rider, throwing her. He is not a horse for a complete novice as he can be spooky. |
