Bio:
Destiny was donated by his owner when she felt she didn’t have enough time to give him the exercise required. He has been trained to low-level dressage. Destiny is by nature a “nervous” horse. He goes off his feed with a change of location. In-hand and under-saddle he can be a little “hot” but when ridden in an arena, he is a superb horse. He does not have any common “stable vices” like cribbing, weaving, etc. but does require daily turnout. Not a candidate for stall-only boarding.
History: Same owner for sixteen years but now needs someone who can take advantage of his fine riding skills..
Health/Lameness:
Might be developing just a touch of arthritis which is common for a horse this age. He is very sound though. Good feet.
Abilities:Destiny is fabulous when ridden in an arena and would make a good show horse. Because he tends to be nervous, he is not a good candidate for trail riding as he tends to spook easily. He is currently in a herd of geldings and is not dominant or submissive; generally falls in about the middle of the herd. He absolutely LOVES water and will swim or play in the hose as long as you will let him. He loads easily but gets very nervous while trailering so needs a “buddy” to keep him calm in the trailer.
