Bio: Duchess was part of a herd of Welsh Mountain ponies who had little human interaction for several years.  When she arrived in BEHS she was completely untouchable and terrified of humans.

History: Not known

Health/Lameness: May be in foal, but is not her first pregnancy. No lameness issues at this time.  Has a slight locking stifle on the right hind leg.  Probably needs her teeth floated.

Abilities: Duchess is slowly becoming used to her handler.  She is now eating out of a feed bucket while her foster mom holds it.  Unexpected movement still causes her to jump away in fear, but she is now returning instead of simply standing in the back of her stall and shaking.

Other: Duchess is a stunning little mare.
