Name - Hope Bio: Hope was surrendered to BEHS when her owners were investigated for neglect. At that time, she was malnourished but she has since recovered. History: Unknown Health/Lameness: Hope is blind in her left eye. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, but upon further veterinary evaluation and radiographs, it appears she suffered an injury to her hind leg. It overcalcified and now she's occasionally lame a a result. She occassionally requires Bute to help with pain. She does not limp and does not seem to be in pain. Abilities: Because of the injury to her leg, Hope is available as a pet/companion only Other: Hope is protective of her blind side. She will not eat unless she can see what is going on around her. She is sweet and loving and needs a forever home with someone who can love her. |
