Bio: Jackson was taken by the sheriff’s department as a stray and then was donated to BEHS.
There is very little known about Jackson except that he had not been handled extensively.
History: Nothing is known of Jackson's history prior to coming to BEHS. He was adopted in 2009 but
was returned in 2010
Health/Lameness: None known.
Abilities: Jackson's adopter worked with him under saddle and was working cattle off of him, trail
riding him, riding around the ranch on him and letting his kids ride him. Jackson was an awesome riding horse. His adopter changed the bit on Jackson to a curb, and Jackson reared
with him. He tried riding him once after that but felt Jackson tensing to rear and decided to return him to BEHS. Jackson is a smart horse, and his foster home has
recently begun trick horse training with him. She says he learns quickly and could do well at trick horse training. She's also recently begun riding
him again and he is doing well.
