Name - Jazz Bio: Jazz was part of a large neglect case. She was removed in a joint effort between BEHS and three other agencies. She was placed with BEHS by the courts. History: : Nothing is known of Jazz's history. Health/Lameness: None known. Abilities: Jazz has been saddled and bridled in her foster home, but appears very nervous. She accepted the saddle well but chewed the bit a lot. With some encouragement, she demonstrated that she knows how to longe, but was rusty. Due to her evident insecurity, we'll work on ground work for a few sessions before trying to see if she is broke to ride. I get the impression that if she was ever fully broke it was a long time ago and that she need quite a bit of remedial work. There is a possibility, due to the history of some of the other horses, that she could have been race-trained at some point. Other: |
