Bio: She was seized from negligent owners by animal control and placed with BEHS.
History: Unknown.
Health/Lameness: Jubilee is extemely malnourished but seems to be in good health otherwise.
Abilities: She’s still too thin to really evaluate, but she appears to have been handled quite a bit. She leads well, stands tied, stands for grooming, fly-spraying, farrier work and baths. Once she gains weight, she’ll be evaluated under saddle.
Update July 2008: Jubilee's vet has given the OK to start working her in the round pen . Her foster home will be bridling and saddling to see how she does. "She's really a sweet girl, no problems so far. She's getting a little friendlier, even coming up to me and waits for me in the morning to feed her. "
Other: Update August 2008: Jubilee's foster home has bitted her with no problem and will try her in a saddle when she's at a healthier weight. "So far, she's been a dream and she loves carrots and attention."
