Name - Jupiter Bio: Jupiter was found estray with 5 other mares in Burleson County. The horses were awarded to BEHS when no owner was found. History: : Nothing is known of Jupiter's history. Health/Lameness: None known. Abilities: Jupiter is an approximately 2002, grade, stock-type mare. She spent some time with a trainer last year (before having to take a break when she hurt a hoof). She is easy to catch, leads well, loads well and has been saddled and bridled. The trainer rode her a few times, but it has been months since she was ridden. Her foster home is working on ground work and will restart her under saddle. Her trainer felt like she might make a good ranch/cow horse, but she also has potential as a pleasure or trail horse. Other: Jupiter is doing well with the other horses she shares a pasture with. |
