Name - Karisma Bio: Several horses were reported to the Sheriffs dept. as abandoned and skinny. The horses were on a small lot with no water and food and were surrendered. History: Nothing is known of her history. Health/Lameness: None known or visible. Abilities: Unknown at this time. Update July 2008: Karisma continues to gain weight nicely. She is easy to catch and there is no problem cleaning and trimming her feet. It will take a couple of trimmings to get her feet free from splits. I suspect she has had some training and hope to work with her more to assess this. She is a well mannered horse and I would be surprised if she needed more than a "refresher". Other: Update August 2008: Karisma is such a nice horse. She is easy to catch and handle. She ties and it is easy to trim her feet. Her feet are in relatively good shape and feel they will grow out fine. Karisma is currently being evaluated under saddle. We believe she must have some experience with this because of how well behaved she is. |
