Name - Love Bio: Love was discovered abandoned. When staff at a vet clinic arrived one morning, they found her and two other mares left in a paddock. All three were emaciated and although the police department tried to track down their owner and press animal neglect charges, they did not discover the owner. History: : Nothing is known of Love's history. Health/Lameness: Love has sarcoids that are being monitored and treated by a vet and her foster home. She also has what appears to be scar tissue on her left hock and her right pastern that the vet believes are superficial and shouldn't affect her physically. Abilities: Love is a sweet mare who deserves her name. She stands well for saddling and bridling and has had children led around on her back. She doesn't appear to be broke to ride, though, so she'll need a trainer who can work with her. She has potential be a great pleasure or trail horse for a lucky adopter. Other: |
