Name - Lucky Bio: Lucky was found estray in Llano County. When the sheriff's department could not locate his owner, they placed him with BEHS. History: Unknown. Health/Lameness:Lucky sustained an injury to his left eye right before he arrived at BEH and it is the opinion of the vet that evaulated him that he sustained a puncture to his eye. He now appears to be blind in that eye. Abilities: Lucky is not broke to ride. His current foster home is working with him on ground exercises and may start him under saddle in the future. Lucky is a laid back horse with a friendly personality but with a bit of a stubborn streak. He also can be hard to catch if you have an unfamiliar object or something he doesn't like in your hands (like fly spray). Other: Lucky is a fence tester. If there is a weak part of the fence, he will test it to see if he can get out. He respects barbed wire and board fencing, but he will pull down field fencing with his hooves if it is not reinforced with something else. |
