Name - Minnie Bio: Minnie was seized by law enforcement and awarded to BEHS. History: Unknown Health/Lameness: None known. Abilities: Minnie was evaluated by a trainer who says feels that she's been handled and extensively desensitized. She does feel that Minnie has been spoiled - she does not work well in the round pen and the trainer expects that someone tried to work her, Minnie refused to work and was then put away, thus teaching her that she did not have to do anything. She did accept a bit but chewed it quite a bit as if she were not terribly used to wearing one. She carried a saddle well but was tense when the trainer mounted. She will need an intermediate to experienced rider who can work with her. Other: Minnie is a little food-aggressive, so she'll need to be fed separately from other horses. |
