Name - Patchouli Bio: Patchouli was bought at an auction by a concerned BEHS member after her owner was offered just $50. The member then donated Patchouli to BEHS. History: Her previous owner said Patchouli was broke to ride as a trail horse, but we will evaluate after she has gained enough weight. Health/Lameness: None known. Abilities:Her previous owner reported that she was broke to ride and used as a trail horse. She's only had one rider while in BEHS. That rider rode her bareback, and Patchouli was not well behaved. That may be because she was in a new situation and separated from other horses she had bonded to. Other: Patchouli loads and travels well. She is slightly food aggressive.
Her foster "mom" feels she has been abused -she's very scared of new things. She's catchable but much better with food. Right now, her teeth are in poor shape and she cannot eat hay.
