Color/Markings - Chocolate (silver dapple), star, strip, snip, 2 hind stockings. Flaxen mane and tail.

Bio: Poe was donated to BEHS when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a beautiful mare, who should develop her gaits under saddle with more riding experience.

History: Poe had carried a rider at her former home but had little formal training

Health/Lameness: None.

Abilities:Poe is very green under saddle. She has been ridden in a Western saddle and a bosal (bitless bridle) in the round pen. She is learning to turn, and stops easily. She did not buck or spook, but did when pushed, acted as if she wanted to get her head down and buck. Poe has a lot of energy under saddle and moves out easily, which makes her not suitable at this time for an inexperienced rider. She could be ridden and trained by an adopter with experience in starting young horses.
