Bio: Runnin Thunder was placed with BEHS by Brazos County.
History: : Nothing is known of Runnin Thunder’s history.
Health/Lameness: At some point, Runnin Thunder had a broken tail but it has
healed and does not bother him. He also has a broken cartilage ring in his trachea from some previous injury. The vet advised he should not be used as an endurance
horse, roping, or barrel racing where he needs deep heavy breathing without being scoped first to see if there is any interference with his breathing. Runnin
Thunder has no other known health or lameness issues.
Abilities: Runnin Thunder has warmed up nicely, likes attention and petting, is
easy to catch and halter. He leads well, likes to have a bath and lifts his feet for the farrier. He will make a good trail horse or pleasure horse for an adopter
willing to train for riding when he is old enough.
Other: Adoption Fee: $150 after he's gelded - or his adoption fee will be waived if
he's adopted before being gelded, but the adopter will be responsible for gelding him and providing proof that he was gelded |
