Bio:Shawnee was removed from negligent owners by law enforcement
and awarded to BEHS. She was adopted in the summer of 2010 but was returned a few months later (through no fault of her own).
History: Shawnee had been handled very little prior to coming
to BEHS.
Health/Lameness: None known.
Abilities: Shawnee knew very little when she came into BEHS. She's learned
lot while in rescue, and she wants to please her handler and tries hard to understand what is asked of her. She can be a little skittish so she's not
for a novice horse person. She's a nice stout mare who could do well in a variety of western disciplines with a little time and patience. Shawnee is
currently with a trainer and her fee will be based on the amount of training she receive prior to adoption. On August 18th, she completed a month with a
professional trainer and did well. He was riding her in an arena at a walk, trot and canter. She's very green, but she tremendous potential.
