Name - Zezz Breed - Arabian Gender - Gelding DOB - January 1987
Height - hands Registration -Arabian Horse Association (BEHS does not have the papers) Color/Markings - Grey Arrived: 5/20/2009
Bio: Zezz was part of a large neglect case. He was removed in a joint effort between BEHS and three other agencies.
He was placed with BEHS by the courts.
History: : Zezz has a lip tattoo and was raced as a young horse. We do not know what happened with him between
his racing days and the time he was seized. Zezz was adopted in October 2009 and returned in January 2010 when he did not
get along with his adopter's mares.
Health/Lameness: None known.
Abilities: Zezz was raced as a younger horse. He is easy to handle on the ground. He leads well, stands tied, stands for
farrier work, grooming, fly spraying and bathes. He knows how to longe and is broke to ride. His foster "mom" has ridden him at a walk, trot and canter
in an open field and in a show arena. He is very responsive to reins aids, leg aids and voice commands. He picks up both leads and stops when asked from any gate. He's also been ridden down the
road but got nervous when ridden alone. He may be better if ridden with a companion. No one has told Zezz he's 23 - he likes to go. He has potential
as an endurance horse for someone willing to slowly condition him.
Other: Zezz was gelded in May 2009. He has been out with both mares and geldings in his
foster home and has done fine but he did not do as well with mares in his adopter's home.
