If you are a member we invite you to join our member’s only group lists.

Because the BEHS lists can be high volume and because we are a large and diverse group of strong people with strong opinions, we have set some guidelines to be followed when using the email lists. If you would like to join any of the BEHS lists please review the List Etiquette guidelines. Please review these before participating in any BEHS Email Discussion List.

  BEHS Officers and volunteer staff send out announcements of volunteers needed, open volunteer positions, upcoming events, etc. List limited to less than ten emails per week.

  Chat and off-topic discussions.

  Discuss BEHS business, upcoming events, and volunteer needs.

  Discuss and plan the annual Bluebonnet Horse Expo

  For approved foster homes only. Posts of horses needing new foster homes and fostering policy updates.

  Developing, organizing, and executing fundraisers.

  Research potential grants, write proposals, administer grants.

  Requests for volunteers to conduct pre-adoption and pre-foster inspection and adoption and foster follow ups.

  Discussion of training problems and issues and success stories.

  For approved trailering volunteers only. Requests for assistance moving BEHS horses posted.
