Fandango and his herdmates were removed from a negligent owner by a joint effort between BEHS and local law enforcement. When BEHS volunteers arrived on the scene, the horses had no water although the temperature was well over 100 degrees. They were severely dehydrated and were immediately seen by a veterinarian. Luckily the horses began recovering with good care, and Fandango blossomed into a gorgeous horse. His foster home worked with him once he gained weight and found that he was broke to ride. A second foster home fell in love with Fandango and decided to adopt him.
