About Hugo

Hugo and his herdmate were removed from in negligent owners by law enforcement and placed with Bluebonnet by animal control.

History

Hugo was a stallion when seized and gelded in March 2019.  Nothing else is known of history before coming to Bluebonnet.

Health / Lameness

Hugo has no known health or lameness problems.

Other

Hugo will be competing under saddle in the professional division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with trainer Sabine Lazo.  He will be available for adoption starting on October 19, 2019 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Taylor, Texas.

Evaluation and Training

Hugo is a nice horse to handle ont he ground, but it appears he hasn’t had much, if any, training.  So he’s spending June-October with trainer Sabine Lazo to be started under saddle.
