About Ward of the Court

Ward of the Court was rescued by S&S Ranch in 2019, and he was in awful condition when he arrived.  He was rehabilitated at S&S Ranch and then transferred to Bluebonnet when S&S Ranch closed its rescue.

Ward of the Court’s history is unknown. However, he has wonderful ground manners. He is not broke to ride. He is easy to handle on the ground and takes everything in stride. Once he has trust in his handler, he will do all that you ask.

Health / Lameness

Ward of the Court has no known health or lameness problems.

Ward of the Court will be competing under saddle in the professional division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with trainer Destiny Wilson.  He will be available for adoption starting on October 19, 2019 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Taylor, Texas.

You can follow their progress on their Facebook page.

Evaluation and Training

Ward of the Court has nice ground manners, and he’s spending four months with trainer Destiny Wilson to be started under saddle. She says, “In the future, I believe that he will be the ultimate western riding horse. He is currently not broke, however, after training, he will be one to watch. He is an incredible ranch riding, all around, and trail prospect.”
