Pumpkin is one of the most popular horses in the rescue. This beautiful Palomino was in horrible shape when he arrived. He’s an older guy who can’t really eat hay, so he gained weight slowly. He has an ear that’s crumpled over and adds to his charm. His wonderful, laid back attitude won him fans, and he’s so well-broke to ride that almost anyone could climb on his back. His foster mom fell in love with him and decided to make him a permanent addition. Congrats to Pumpkin and Denise!

Pumpkin’s adopters let us know in March 2010 that they had to help Pumpkin cross the Rainbow Bridge.  He had started to having trouble getting around and was becoming more and more uncomfortable.  Everyone at their place misses this sweet old man.
