Patchouli was an older mare when she came to BEHS in 2007. She was underweight but recovered well. Although she was older, she wasn’t meek! Patchouli had a mind of her own and didn’t mind letting others know. When test-ridden, she bucked and made it clear she preferred to be a pasture ornament. So she spent the next four years living out her days as a pasture ornament in a foster home. She began to decline and left this world due to complications of old age.
