About My Chiquita

My Chiquita was removed from a negligent owner along with two other horses and placed with BEHS.  Once she recovered from neglect, we discovered she was well broke to ride.  She was adopted and then returned when her adopter had health problems.

History

Nothing is known of My Chiquita’s history.

Health / Lameness

No known health or lameness problems.

Other

My Chiquita will be competing under saddle in the Non-Pro Under Saddle division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with non-pro Kaitlyn Glass.  He will be available for adoption starting on October 21, 2017 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.

Evaluation and Training

My Chiquita is an easy mare to work with. She’s easy to catch and halter, leads well, stands tied and stands for brushing, bathing, etc. She’s been ridden and seems to have had some training. She’s a great age to continue working with, and she could make a nice trail, pleasure or even open show horse!
