About Tap

Tap was placed with Bluebonnet when his owners were investigated for neglect.

History

It appears Tap has been handled a lot before coming to Bluebonnet, but we know nothing else about his history.

Health / Lameness

Tap has no known health or lameness problems.

Other

Tap will be competing under saddle in the Non-Pro Under Saddle division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with non-pro Liz Robertson.  He will be available for adoption starting on October 21, 2017 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.

Evaluation and Training

Tap was handled recently by a trainer who said he is very good on the ground - knowing how to pivot, sidepass, yield his hindquarters and more.  She feels he’s likely broke to ride.

He’s going to spend the next four months being ridden by Liz Robertson to prepare for the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge.
