About Serendipity

Serendipity was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner was investigated for neglect.

Nothing is known of Serendipity’s history before coming to Bluebonnet.

Health / Lameness

Serendipity has no known health or lameness problems.

She chases both dogs and cats.

Serendipity will be competing in hand in the Non-Pro In Hand 12 and Under division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with non-pro   .  She will be available for adoption starting on October 19, 2019 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Taylor, Texas.

You can follow their progress on their Facebook page.

Evaluation and Training

When Serendipity arrived, she was hard to catch and load.  Her current foster home is working with her on those skills!

She stands for farrier work, vet work, and grooming.  She knows how to longe.  Her current foster home is a young girl who is working with her to teach her to navigate obstacles in hand, and Serendipity seems to be responding well to having a child handler.  She’s not yet broke to ride, but she’s not too old to train to ride or drive.
