About Bristol Bay

Bristol Bay was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet.

History

We believe Bristol Bay was likely ridden before he came to Bluebonnet due what appears to be saddle sores on his back.

Health / Lameness

Bristol Bay suffered an injury prior to coming to Bluebonnet.  This causes him to be lame and painful.  He’s on daily low-dose bute, and he is unridable.

Evaluation and Training

Bristol Bay’s foster home says, “He seems gentle and willing. He also seems to have “seen it all”; nothing phases/spooks or upsets him.”

He doesn’t seem to know ground commands (walk, whoa, back, etc.), but is a quick study and improving each day.

He is not ridable due to a previous injury.  He could be a companion to other horses.
