About Jigsaw

Jigsaw was placed with Bluebonnet after Hurricane Harrvey.  Her owners decided they needed to cut back on horses while they rebuilt.

History

It appears that Jigsaw has not been handled much before coming to Bluebonnet.

Health / Lameness

Jigsaw has no known health or lameness problems.

Other

Jigsaw will be competing in hand in the Non-Pro In Hand division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with non-pro Salvador Lazo. She will be available for adoption starting on October 20, 2018 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.

You can follow their progress on their Facebook page.

Evaluation and Training

When Jigsaw arrived at Bluebonnet, she had had very little handling.  She was very hard to catch and barely halter broke.

Fortunately, she was enrolled in the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She’s now working with an experienced foster home to get solid ground work training!  She’ll be ready to train to do almost anything by the time she competes in the Challenge.
