About Todd

Todd was placed with Bluebonnet when his owner could no longer keep him.

History

Todd was kept mostly as a pet.

Health / Lameness

Todd has no known health or lameness problems.

Other

Todd will be competing under saddle in the Non-Pro Under Saddle division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with non-pro Linda Kirk.  He will be available for adoption starting on October 21, 2017 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.

You can follow their progress on their Facebook page.

Evaluation and Training

Todd hasn’t had a lot of handling/work before coming to Bluebonnet.  His foster home says his ground manners are improving each time he’s handled. He now stands for the farrier, grooming, and saddling.  He is learning to stand for fly spraying, learning to load better, and is learning to lunge.

His foster home says he loves attention and seeks people out in pasture.  He is also cooperative and a willing learner.
Todd will make someone a very pretty riding horse once started under saddle!
