About Jenny Lee

Jenny Lee was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner could not keep her.

Jenny Lee’s former owner said he used her for riding.

Health / Lameness

Jenny Lee has two carinomas, but she otherwise has no health or lameness problems.  (We are discussing treatment options with her veterinarian).

Jenny Lee will be competing in hand in the Non-Pro In Hand for kids 12 and under division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with non-pro Katelyn Chapman. She will be available for adoption starting on October 20, 2018 at the Challenge competition during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.

You can follow their progress on their Facebook page.

Evaluation and Training

Jenny Lee was evaluated by a trainer in the summer of 2018 who thought she wasn’t broke to ride.  She was enrolled in the in hand division of the Training Challenge.  Her youth Training Challenge partner has been riding her and it seems that may she was just very rusty.  They’ll be showing in hand but have been practicing obstacles both under saddle and in hand.  She could use some finishing under saddle, but she’s ready for a lucky adopter to do almost anything with her!
