Without a Trace Competitive Trail Ride (CTR)
September 22-23, 2012

This event is a fundraiser for Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society and will include silent auction items and other fundraising opportunities. Donations for the silent auction as well as donations for prizes are needed. (Prizes are normally comprised of $3-$5 horse-related items). Email Christa Bass at christabas@aol.com if you have items to donate.
Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society volunteers are also needed to make this event work. We need riders on calm, well-trained horses over the age of four to ride at the back of the competitors and handle any emergencies. We will also need P&R (pulse and respiration) workers - they take a pulse or a respiration on a horse (its VERY easy, and you will be taught if you haven’t done it before!) to make sure it is doing okay during the ride. Safety riders and P&R workers generally stay the weekend, but they are really only needed in the morning Saturday and Sunday, At the end of the ride, Sunday afternoon, we will need a few people to “recap” - they just make sure the math is right on scorecards, and people to help clean up. If you can volunteer, please contact Christa at christabas@aol.com.
