BEHS November 2008 Virtual Horse Show

We're looking for a sponsor for our November 2008 Virtual Show Horse. If you are interested, please email Jennifer at jenn@bluebonnetequine.org.

• "Purchase a class": Is there a class missing that you would like? If so, you can "purchase" the class for $50. Your name will be listed as the sponsor of the class and it will be added to the class lists and treated the same as all other classes.

• Sponsor a Class: You can be listed as a class sponsor on our website and in mailings about the virtual show. You have two options for class sponsors:
  • Option 1: $10 sponsorship - You can select the class you wish to sponsor and your name will be added to the webpage and to mailings about the horse show. A brief message such as "Sponsored by Jenn Williams in memory of Susan Baker" will be added to the class description.

  • Option 2: $35 sponsorhip - ou can select the class you wish to sponsor and your name will be added to the webpage and to mailings about the horse show. A brief message such as "Sponsored by Jenn Williams in memory of Susan Baker" will be added to the class description. Additionally, a special prize will be shipped to the winner of the class along with a note that the special prize is courtesy of our sponsor along with your message.

  Entries:

  Entries will be accepted from now until November 15, 2008. All entries must be emailed to jenn@bluebonnetequine.org. Please send one photo per email and include horse's name, sex, breed, age, the owner's name and complete mailing address (for prizes). The person entering the photo must own the horse or include permission from the horse's owner. For horses in the rescue class, please include the name of the rescue the horse was adopted from or is being fostered for. You may also include the rescue's website.

  This virtual horse show is for 'real' or 'live' horses only - no model horses, stuffed horses, etc.

  Prizes:

  We will award rosettes to first place and flat ribbons to 6th. If we find a company willing to sponsor the show, we will be able to give better prizes. If you are interested in sponnsoring the show, please contact Jennifer at jenn@bluebonnetequine.org.

  Entry Fee:

  $5 per photo per class it is entered in. For example, if you enter a photo in both the Pleasure Type Halter and Showmanship classes, you will pay $10. Or if you enter one photo in Sidesaddle and Hunter pleasure, you will pay $10.

  You can make unlimited entries for $50/horse.

  For $100 for you may make unlimited entries for an unlimited number of horses.

  You may enter as many photos as you like in each class, but each horse will be judged only once. For example, if you enter 3 photos of your horse in one class, those three photos will be lumped into one "entry" for that horse. It will cost you $5/photo to enter (so $15) or you may pay $50 for the unlimited number of photos.

  11) Saddleseat Pleasure - All ages, all breeds
  12) Huntseat Pleasure - All ages, all breeds

  14) Gaited Horse Pleasure - All ages, all breeds, all seats (1 entry)

  Misc. - The Misc. classes are open to horses, donkeys, mules, miniature horses, and ponies.

  29) Favorite Dog (Enter your favorite photo of your dog)

  31) Antique Horses Do you have old horses you would like to show off? This class is for those horses who are over 20!
  32) Leadline - Show off your small children (under 8 years old) while they are being lead around on a horse.

  Judging

  All photos will be posted to the BEHS Virtual Horse Show Website as the photo and entry fee is received. Judging will begin on November 20 and go through November 30.

  Proceeds from this show will be used to benefit the horses, mules, and donkeys of BEHS. You can learn more about BEHS and our animals at www.bluebonnetequine.org.
