About Rockstar
When Rockstar came to Bluebonnet with a mass on his hind leg. It was removed in 2020. In May 2021 x-rays showed a small bone chip but was determined by a vet not to remove and Rockstar has not presented any issues.
Rock Star is competing in the Professional Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Justin Blackburn. Rock Star will be available for adoption at the Training Challenge competition on October 5, 2024, during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center. Evaluation and Training
Rock Star was barely halter broke when he arrived. He quickly learned to lead nicely and is learning to navigate trail obstacles in hand. He’s pretty fearless and should be a nice trail horse for someone eventually.
Rockstar’s trainer says he's a nice riding horse, although green, and he would keep him if he were a bit bigger. He's still green so he's going to need a confident intermediate rider to bring him along, but he's sweet and laid back and will make someone an awesome pleasure or trail horse.
