About Running on Sunshine
Sunshine was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner couldn’t care for her.
Her foster home reports that she has foot tenderness in rocky areas when it is wet. She might benefit from boots for riding/work when the ground is hard, or it has been damp.
Sunshine is incredibly sweet and kind to people. She is remarkably careful of her people when handled, in spite of her large size. In the pasture she is a total pet and follows you around for treats and love.
Evaluation and Training
Running on Sunshine’s former owner said she was started under saddle several years ago but only had a few rides. We’re treating her as a horse who hasn’t been started under saddle and believe she would do best with someone who can start her from the ground up. She’s a big, pretty mare who could do well in dressage, hunters, or jumpers.
