About Lady Esther
Lady Esther was placed with Bluebonnet when her owners could no longer keep her. Her donor had bought her at an auction with a serious, infected leg injury that left her scarred.
She was quickly adopted by her foster home but returned in 2024 through no fault of her own.
Her adopter used her for trail rides, but she became lame. Once she was returned, she was showing frequent signs of lameness and a veterinary exam revealed that while she should be fine in pasture, her riding days are over.
Evaluation and Training
Lady Esther is great with kids, has good ground manners, is lower in the herd, and is an easy keeper.
Lady Esther’s riding days are over thanks to an old injury, but she’s still a sweet mare who would enjoy being someone’s pet or keeping a lonely horse company.
