About Mortimer
Mortimer was donated to Bluebonnet by his owner. His foster reports that he is a super sweet and relaxed boy. He halters, leads, loads and stands for the farrier. His foster home has several small children that visit him several times a day in the pasture and he likes the attention. He has a bony swelling on one hind fetlock but the vet said it is not a tendon rupture. Mortimer will be monitored as he gets more consistent work to make sure he doesn't develop issues.
Mortimer's foster home quickly fell in love with him and has decided to adopt him.
Evaluation and Training
Very little is known of his training history. He supposedly would follow his previous owner around without a halter. He clearly has been ridden in the past. He is currently being ridden bareback with a snaffle.
