About El Indio
El Indio was donated to Bluebonnet when his owner could no longer care for him. His foster reports that he is calm and gets along with our other gelding. He’s friendly and seems willing.
Evaluation and Training
El Indio appears to have a great foundation! He has wonderful ground manners. He leads, loads, and trailers. He stands for grooming, fly spray, and picking hooves. He also responded very well to me in the round pen. He responded to my cues to move forward, turned in, and join up. His former owner says he has been ridden. We will test ride when weather permits.
