Bucky was transferred from another rescue for training and rehoming.
Bucky competed in the 2023 Training Challenge with a Non-Professional Under Saddle. Bucky placed 2nd in Freestyle, 5th place in Obstacle course, and 4th place overall in his division!

Evaluation and Training
Bucky was transferred from another organization and was told he had been ridden before. It has been a while since he has been ridden and needs a refresher. He is kind and wants to do good. He will load, catch, and is learning about new things.
Bucky prefers the pasture, then a stall. He needs someone to have patience with him while he learns to have trust in them. This is why an Intermediate rider is recommended. Bucky has a designated scratch spot. It’s seen by my white face markings. His ideal job would have to be trail riding! He has been ridden in arenas and on trails. He will love anyone who has cookies! He is the horse version of the Cookie Monster.
