Marlo was transferred from another organization so he could have an opportunity to find his forever home. He is extremely smart, but cautious. He is not aggressive, just skittish and has trust issues. After some trust is established, he will stand for bathing, follow with lead rope, halter-broke, and raise his feet. He is learning to be caught and standing still. He wants to learn and trust everyone.

Marlo picks up all four feet, will load in anything, stands for baths, stands for farrier, stands to be saddled, takes a bit perfectly, soft in the mouth.

His trainer has been riding him in arenas, down the road, and on trails. She's hauled him to events. He's also becoming friendlier and learning to enjoy attention. He ought to make someone a nice trail horse or pleasure riding horse. His trainer rides Marlo in a snaffle & a halter he prefers more leg rather than all on the face but tolerates it all well. He is a VERY easy keeper and will do anything for a treat! Marlo is more Whoa than go but loves obstacles. Marlo would be a great fit for a Novice rider.
