About Echo
Echo was removed from a negligent owner along with two other horses and placed with BEHS. She was adopted in the summer of 2013 but returned shortly afterwards through no fault of hers. She attended the 2013 Bluebonnet Horse Expo where she met her adopter. Kristy plans to use Echo for trail riding and in drill team performances, so we look forward to hearing great things about this team!
Evaluation and Training
Echo is a very friendly, easy-going horse. She can be pushy but is easily reminded to listen to her handler. She is easy to catch, lead, and load. She stands well for saddling and bridling and knows how to longe. Her first foster home rode her bareback and said she did well, and in August 2012 she was evaluated by another home/rider. She seems to be broke to ride, although she doesn't know a lot. She is quiet under saddle and could make a nice ranch or trail horse.
