About Tobias
Tobias was surrendered when his owners were investigated for neglect.Tobias competed in and placed 6th in the professional division at the 2015 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. He was adopted at the 2015 Bluebonnet Horse Expo by someone who saw her competing in the Challenge, but he was returned a month later because he and his new adopter did not click. Tobias moved to a new foster home after being returned, and his new family fell in love with him and made him a permanent addition!
Evaluation and Training
Tobias was a stallion when he arrived at BEHS and didn’t appear to have a lot of handling. He spent June – October with trainer Kay McFall to train for the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. He’s been started under saddle and learned to navigate trail obstacles. He’s still green but has potential to do almost anything,
