About Ward of the Court
Ward of the Court was rescued by S&S Ranch in 2019, and he was in awful condition when he arrived. He was rehabilitated at S&S Ranch and then transferred to Bluebonnet when S&S Ranch closed its rescue. Unfortunately Ward's hard life resulted in medical issues that could not be corrected and he could not be kept comfortable so we made the decision to help him across the Rainbow Bridge.
Evaluation and Training
Ward of the Court has nice ground manners, but he was not broke to ride. He's spent time with a trainer in the summer of 2019 who began riding him, but he's still very green and will need someone who can bring him along. He's built to be a great western riding horse and could excel in many western disciplines or as a trail or working horse.
